Epic Stock Dress update AND COMIC CON!

G'day everyone,

I need to to make this quick as I am at work. *giggle*

Firstly, thank you all so much for all the ideas that you have given me in regards to the next epic dress I am going to make. I have decided to make a victorian inspired ball gown. And for an extra twist... I am going to do it scrap epic style. AKA. 90% of the materials must come already from my stash or donated by others. I have a cool idea which means I only need to by some elastic and some dye. Everything else, I think I have or have access too. Maybe I can do this challenge for under $20.

Other news - I NEED YOUR HELP FOR THE NEXT MASSIVE PROJECT!

I am pretty certain I will be going to Comic Con next year in March. (yes... moving house, being stress +) But I have a GOOD reason. Amanda Tapping, AKA. Sam Carter from Stargate and Helen Magnus from Sanctuary, is COMING TO PERTH! *hyperventalates*

Amanda Tapping was my childhood/ teenage hero... and I admire her to this day. Not only for being an actor, but also a writer, producer, director, philanthropist, mother and wife. She was the person who inspired me to get into the arts because she proved that you could have a "normal" life along with being an actor... and still be the type of person who is heavily involved with charity.

It is a dream of mine to meet her.

SO! In true comic con fashion, I want to go as a character. Though I have NOOOO idea what costume to do. So... GO! You guys know what I look like and what I can do. Tell me your thoughts!
